Advisory Council for Adult Educantion, the national adult education advisory body. Established in 1966 under the Adult Education Act. 15 members appointed by the President, including knowledgeable individuals in the field of adult education, state and local public school officials, persons with expertise and experience, or representatives of competent adult education practitioners and citizens [1]
