What are the adrenal tumors?

Adrenal tumors are the adrenal tumors that come from bark or medully, two parts of the glands. When there is excessive secretion of hormones, the adrenal glands are formed. The cortex adrenal can produce excess aldosterone and steroid hormones, and the adrenal medulla can produce too many catecholamines. These excess secrets are formed by the adrenal glands that can be either benign or malignant, but can be difficult to distinguish between the two. Many different hormones are secreted by these glands to help in this function, but when secretion is excess, tumors can form. Adrenal cortex is the outer part of the gland that produces steroid hormones and aldosterone, which together work regular body and amount of salt and water in the body. Medulla adrenal gland is the inner part of the gland that produces adrenaline and noradrenaline, Together called catecholamines that help the body respond to sudden or severe stress. Catecholamines regulate sweating, expanding eyes and shivers in stressful situations. CompoundScanning of the abdomen can be done for many different reasons and if the adrenal gland is swollen, an unsuspected adrenal tumor may be captured. In addition, this gland may cause symptoms due to excessive hormone secretion from the tumor.

adrenal tumors can be treated by observation if the tumors are small and the symptoms are mild. CT scan can watch small tumors twice a year, but those above four centimeters should be removed. Benign tumors under ten centimeters can be removed by laparoscopic surgery in which small cuts are made into the abdomen and long tubes called ports are inserted. When the tumor is considered cancer, open adrenallectomy, removal of the adrenal gland is recommended. If the adrenal disease is present in both glands, both the adrenal glands should be laparoscopic removal.

Adrenal gland can be removed for reasons other than bark tumors, medully or onDledvinky. Cancer adrenal or adrenal mass that causes pain or sensitivity should lead to removal of one or both adrenal glands. Adrenal cancer is aggressive cancer, which often attacks nearby organs such as abdominal cavity, lungs, liver and bones. Another problem of the adrenal gland is Addison's disease, which is caused by insufficient cortisol production of UDCILATORS. Because cortisol helps the body to respond to stress, sub -production may have serious consequences such as fatigue, muscle weakness, low blood pressure, skin changes, depression and reproduction problems.
