What are the different types of MMO pets?
Many different massively multiplayer online (MMO) games include or first -class pets as an element in the world and the story of the game. In many of them, these pets can easily provide the world aesthetic touch, giving the character of a companion player who can travel with them. Other games use pets as an element of fighting in the game, allowing players to give commands to those used to defeat enemies. There are also pets focusing on training or increasing these creatures, rather than fighting, and these games can be simulators for pets or zoo. Many of these games include items that can be found by different means that are referred to as "Vanity Pets". These are small creatures that the player can convene and follow his character. With them, non -interacting creatures or players within these pets, however, are only as "futility" objects for demonstration of success that have been achieved.
In some MMO pets, creatures that players can meet and tame, take over a much more interactive and important role in the game. Many games include "combat pets" that the player can use to perform various events in the game. Some of these pets are even designed with creatures like integral parts of combat experiences for all players or certain types of characters in these games. As this genre developed and grew, the role of combat pets in these games has changed. There is some controversy among players and developers about the effectiveness of creating characters that rely on virtual creatures rather than players who control them.
There are also several pets that are designed to contain animals as the main element of the game, without the use of combat or other systems. These games are commonly created as simulators or "SIMS" that imitate the experience of animal care. For exampleDecorate the character and trade that can be filled with animals in obtaining, which must be "fed" and "treated" reasonably. The "Sims" zoo can also be quite popular as MMO pets, allowing players to design and build a zoo, which they then fill with various virtual creatures.
