What is Sketchup®?

The first conceptualized @last software and then sold by Google, SketchUP® is a 3D software application for a variety of design professionals. The software application used by architects, graphic designers, engineers, games developers and even filmmakers allows users to create 3D representations of designs. Innovative functions are the core of the program to include imitating the feeling of free drawing with pencil and paper. Google offers a free version and a paid professional version, which later offers additional features focused on professional use. In addition, Google provides pedagogues online platform for collaboration with students when building and warehouse construction and warehouse, allowing users to share the designed models.

Using patented PUSH/PULL technology, the software is based on a modeling environment that allows users to draw proposals in two -dimensional format, similar to the Would artist with pencil and paper. The knowledge of the process allows designersWith ease with tools for drawing tools draw circuits, lines, objects and outlines. The three -dimensional design is then performed using the tools built into the software, allowing the user to push and pull the lines drawn into the design. Using these editing tools, a complete 3D design of design is achieved, which is useful for the production of plans or production products.

The

Acquisition of SketchUP® from Google was completed in March 2006. The agreement was stimulated by the development of the Google Earth ™ @last Software plugin. Then Google released various new versions of the software, often introduced new features and improvements or improved the existing. Through subsequent development, Google has prepared a program for integration into Google Earth ™, allowing users to place models on the mapping software. Such a development eventually made it possible to use SketchUP® users to use geological placementThose with Google Earth ™.

Another important development introduced by Google includes both the pedagogue platform and the 3D warehouse. Cooperation is in the center of both platforms, with 3D Warehouse allows users to share models through search and download features. Users who work in the educators community give students and teachers the opportunity to build and share 3D models for a wide range of items that include history, mathematics and science. Among the features of the educators are discussion rooms, instructions, lessons for teachers and demonstration of models developed by students. Google deliberately created to extend the use, applications and skills of SketchUP® and encourages participants in the educational community to contribute to the continuing development of the program.
