What are the different types of compressor parts?

There are several different types of compressors and many different parts of the compressor vary depending on the type of compressor. There are some parts such as a reserve tank and a pressure breakup that are common to all compressors. Pressure valves, cooling fans and exhaust holes are also common compressor parts on most types of air compressors. While the basic operation of the air compressor is the same, some machines use pistons and rings mounted on the crankshaft with the connected rods to pump air, while other compressors use a compressing screw and impeller. Among them is the type of reciproce the most common compressor. This design works similarly to the car engine. The piston is equipped with piston rings and moves up and down along the cylinder connecting rod that is connected to the crankshaft. Sandwich bearings and crankshafts allow the compressor parts to work for years without failure. Piston rings provide seals between piston and STThe rollers to pump or force the air into the holding tank.

Special compressor parts in the form of spring valves operate suction that allows the piston to attract air into the cylinder on the lower stroke of the piston. When the piston starts its up in the cylinder, the suction valve is pushed by the closed and the exhaust valve is open. The air is now pushed through the open exhaust valve with a piston as it travels around the cylinder and sets the way from the cylinder and into the retention tank. Once all air is pushed out of the cylinder, the valve is closed with a spring, which prevents air leakage from the tank.

This basic operating cycle is repeated in all types of compressors, albeit using different parts of the compressor for drawing and compression methods. The screw type compressor uses two screws of the screw that captures the air between the compressor parts of the screw type and enter the tank. This compressor type uses a stable toto air bolt to hold air in the tank while the compressor runs. The rotary type of compressor uses a round drum, spinning the center to capture the air and push through special valves and into the tank.
