What is a belt filter?
The belt filter is a machine used in many industrial applications to separate liquids from solids. It is often used for cleaning and filtration to obtain regenerated water or to safely dispose of harmful solids. The machine is thus named because it uses a belt or a number of strips passing through the rollers to separate the materials. The materials are supplied to the strip filter from the hopper and the belts pass through several cylinders in the scattered configuration. As the belts are processed, materials, solids and liquids are separated and the solid mass can be scraped from the belts and fed to the container system.
While the specific configuration of the belt filter may vary from machine to the machine, most of the filters can be divided into three sections: the first section is a component of gravity in which the liquid is permitted by naturally drain material. At this stage, vacuum pumps can be used to facilitate faster liquid removal. The second part of the strip filter process is the dose prepaase in which the material isLY ready for compression or application of pressure. The third and last part is a belt system in which different pressure levels are applied to the materials for the most adequate ward.
Before you bring sludge or material into the machine, it can be treated with chemicals, which will further facilitate the separation of liquids and solids. The gravitational feed zone, in which the liquid is initially exhausted from the solids by gravity and vacuum forces, will often consist of a fast rotating drum or vacuum cylinder that sucks the water down. During this phase of the belt filter, a high percentage of liquid will be released. Once this initial phase has been completed, the materials will be powered by a roller range.
Initial rollers are large diameter components that apply light and medium pressure. This pushes the remiting liquid and prepares the material for further pressure. Another series of cylinders will become an ever smaller diameter, allowing you to be mThe atrials could apply higher pressure levels. At a time when the belts fed the materials through the rollers, most of the liquid will be removed and the materials in solid form can be powered from the machine. The spray sticks must be used with fresh water to prevent the belts to prevent the cake from establishing and accumulation.
