What is the bass?
Bass is the name shared by many perciform fish commonly watched for sport and sometimes consumed. Perciforms are bony fish that resemble a perch and often have spine along their fins. The bass can be found in both fresh and salty water and their preferences differ from warm to mild. They are popular for sports fishing because they tend to fight with a fisherman more than some species, which makes fishing for these types of demanding activities.
Moronidae are mild bass species and can be found in rivers and mouth. The most famous member of this group is striped bass, one of the most popular sports fish of all time.
