Mollusk Megathura Crenulata produces a protein that scientists use as part of vaccines and other medical applications. This protein is called Hemocyanin Limpet keyhole, because the common name of molluscs is a giant limhep keyhole. Hemocyanin comes from Greek words haima, , which means blood and kyanos, , which means a blue pigment.
