What is it in biology?
In biology, the phylum is a division of the body (taxonomic rank) under the kingdom (such as animalia) and above the class (such as Mammalia). There are 38 animal phyles with nine phyla - Mollusca, Porifera, Cnidaria, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Annelida, Arthropoda, Echinodermata and Chordata - form the vast majority of all animals. Fyla Arthropoda (Arthropods) and Nematoda (Nematodes) are the most successful, the former containing between 1 and 10 million species and a second containing between 80,000 and 1 million species. Animal Phyla is widely classified into two groups: deuterostomes and schedules, distinguished from differences in embryonic development.
In the last century, only three new animal phyla were discovered, although more than ten animals that were previously subjected to other phyles were recognized as their own phyles. Different phyles have basic differences in their body plans and each form a monophyletic group, which means the phylum consists of all descendants of a common ancestor and none who is not. Biological groups that can SKBeing from numerous phyletic groups, such as worms, are called polyphyletic. The development of biological taxonomy was generally one of the strictly defining one phylum from another on the basis of clearly describing physical differences and genetic similarity.
There are 12 plant phyles: Hornworts, Mosses, Liverworts, Clubmosses & Spikemosses, Ferns & Horssedails, Seed Ferns, Jehlinis, Cycads, Ginko & Maidenhair, Gnetophytes and Flowering Plants. Among them, flowering plants are currently the most successful and make up most of the plants. This is partly caused by human help: Flowering plants are the only phyl of plants that produce fruit. Before the development of people, flowering plants were still very successful, but because of cooperation with arthropods. Thecoe-evolution between flowering plants and arthropods is one of the great stories of the success of biological history.
There are six phyla mushrooms. Smarts are primitivesmall mushrooms with flagella; Imperfect mushrooms are mushrooms lacking sexual reproduction; and zygomycetes, small mushrooms with spherical disputes, including mold bread. The phylum glomeromycota includes mushrooms found in the roots of almost all plants; SAC and Basidiomycota mushrooms or "higher mushrooms", including all mushrooms.
