What is Zenite angle?

Zenite angle is an angle between the point of interest and the zenith - a point directly above the head. In the three -dimensional coordinate system, the axis is perpendicular to the horizontal plane. Zenite angle is measured from local zenite, which means that it changes based on the location of a person or a measurement device. The angle of solar zenite, the angle between Zeent and the Sun is useful in determining whether the sun rises or sets up and in predicting sun effects on radiological communication. This type of three -dimensional coordinate system describes the position on the ball. The X and Y axes, which are horizontally perpendicular to each other, form a flat plane. The third axis or axis Z is vertically perpendicular to this surface in the third dimension. If the Earth was drawn on spherical coordinates with the center of the country as Christmas origin would pass the axis from the center of the country from the north to the South Pole.

When the zenite angle is measured, the point of origin is defined on the basis of the place in whichá metering. For example, a person standing on Earth creates a vertical axis that leads from the center of the ground across the head up to the sky. This line is local zeniTh. If this person should observe the sun and measure the angle between its position in the sky and the local zenith, it would find the angle of solar zenite.

This measurement can be useful in determining the position as it can be measured from any heavenly object. Satellites and stars, as well as the Sun, can be determined by the angle of zenite. The angle between the local zenith and the point such as the satellite is sometimes known as the angle of zenite.

Smaller The Solar Zenith angle, the higher the sun in the sky. As the sun rises, its zenith angle gradually decreases until noon. The position of the Sun can be important in navigation and in the radio road, where it is used to predict the level of interference from sun flares. When the angle is low and the sun is high in the sky, it is more likely that radio signals can be weakened or lost due to a sunlight.
