What is an Air Marshal?
The Air Force is the latest of the three modern armies. Many countries did not have independent Air Forces until after the end of World War I. Arms that mainly conduct air operations. The air forces of most countries consist of aviation, surface-to-air missile, and antiaircraft artillery. The types of aircraft equipped by the Air Force usually include fighters, bombers and fighter-bombers. The basic tasks of the Air Force are: responsible for homeland air defense, supporting army and naval operations, conducting air strikes on enemy forces, conducting air transport and aviation reconnaissance. The Air Marshal is the highest rank in the Air Force rank, and in many countries it is awarded only during war.
