What are the qualities of adults with mental disabilities?

There are two main features that can be seen in adults with mental disabilities. The first is low general intelligence and the second is a problem with two or three categories of adaptive behavior. There are a number of characteristics that these adults can expose, although largely they try to understand and coexist with the people and the world around them. Once these characteristics are identified, adults with intellectual disabilities may be provided with the support they need to live a happy and productive life.

One of the characteristics of adults with mental disabilities is reduced intellectual ability.
