What Is Crescentic Glomerulonephritis?
Crescentic glomerulonephritis (crescentic glomerulonephritis) refers to glomerulonephritis characterized by a large number of crescentic formation. Clinical manifestations are acute kidney injury, onset of urgency, oliguria, anuria, and decreased renal function within days to weeks. The pathological changes are characterized by cell proliferation and fibrin deposition in the glomeruli, and more than 50% of the glomeruli have crescent formation. The disease is very critical and the prognosis is poor. If the diagnosis can be confirmed early and the corresponding treatment can be taken according to the etiology, the prognosis can be clearly improved.
