What is the abdominal button?

The abdominal button, also called navel, is a brand or scar on the abdomen, where the umbilical cord was attached to the body during the fetal development. When the umbilical cord is removed at birth, the scar can develop in such a way as to protrude or point in, or it can show any formula. Identical twins can be differentiated according to their navy, if in a different way, because each abdomen button is unique. All mammals who receive nutrition from placenta during prenatal development have a belly button, although it is much more visible to people than in any other species.

Although the exact appearance of each person's abdomen is unique, its location is almost always identical in terms of proportion. For example, it is located in the part of the abdomen, which is exactly between the third and fourth lumbar vertebrae of the spine. However, its exact height differs somewhat from man to man.

This accuracy in proportional location is caused by a function that the umbilical cord forWadi before birth, namely the transport of blood between the child and the placenta. There is a vein and two arteries that lead to the corresponding vessels in the baby's body, which in turn lead to heart. This is necessary because the child is unable to obtain oxygen and nutrients in another way. After birth, when the umbilical cord is clamped and cut off, the lungs begin to oxygenate the blood and the inner blood vessels that previously transferred blood to and from the umbilical cord, gradually disappeared.

The belly button serves as a suitable focus on the abdomen. Many fashion trends have reflected this fact. For example, it was common for women to penetrate the navel as a place to wear jewelry. Trends like this are usually accompanied by trends of clothing that reveal part of the abdomen where the navel is. These trends are usually preliminary only in female fashion, with very few exceptions.

In some cultures outside the Western world, uncovered abdomen is considered taboo. This is probably associated with the fact that the exposed navel is usually considered slightly provocativeand. Many cultures, ancient and modern, considered the navel in this way. Even in the Old Testament of the Bible, the song of Solomon contains a reference to the navel as one of the many attractive and beautiful features of Lover Solomon.
