What Is a Hib Immunization?
Hib means invasive Haemophilus influenzae type b. The use of Hib vaccine is an effective measure to control Hib's invasive diseases. Hib vaccine has good immunogenicity, and after inoculation, it can produce a good immune response, which can induce the body to produce effective protective bactericidal antibodies. Studies have confirmed that more than 95% of babies reach protective antibody levels after the second or third shot of basic immunization, and the clinical effect is estimated to reach 95% to 100%. The results of a study showed that among 83% of people who completed the vaccination, the effective protection rates of the vaccine against Hib invasive disease and Hib pneumonia were 94.7% and 100%, respectively. The Hib carrying rate of unvaccinated children in the Takala survey was 3.5% and 0 among the vaccinated children (P <0.001). <p = ""> <!-0.001).
HIB
- Necessity and feasibility of Hib vaccine in China
- Harm of Hib's aggressive disease
- Recent studies have shown that Hib has become the first pathogenic bacteria in the respiratory tract of Chinese children, mainly causing lower respiratory tract infections.
- Depending on the carrier protein, Hib-conjugated vaccines are related to
- Hib vaccine should be injected intramuscularly. It can be used at the same time as diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, pneumococcal or meningococcal vaccine, but should not be injected at the same site.
- The same product should be used for primary immunization and booster vaccination, which can produce a better antibody response.
- (3) Children under 2 years of age with Hib's invasive disease should still be vaccinated, because these children cannot produce sufficient antibodies after natural infection.
