What is the menopause test?
Menopause test is an analysis of blood or urine sample to check the levels of available hormone stimulating follicles (FHS) as an indicator of menopause onset. Normally, this hormone is excreted by the pituitary of the pituitary a few days before the start of menstruation. Its function is to stimulate the ovaries to activate the mature follicle and relax the egg. Once conception or menstruation occurs, FHS levels return to normal and progesterone levels increase. However, FHS levels increase as estrogen levels decrease with age or ovaries that do not respond to biochemical triggers to either prepare the uterus for pregnancy or for shed lining. For one thing, if there is no hysterectomy, there is no way to predict when menopause will occur with accuracy. In addition, most married intuitively know when menopause is close to experiencing irregular menstrual periods. Menopause, however, is not a goal with arrival scheduled for a certain birthday. In fact, it is a process that can take severalto flight, up to decades.
Most experts agree that the menopause test is difficult to accurately accounting of fluctuating FHS levels. In fact, FHS levels may vary considerably at the time of the wasted period and again to start regular cycles, which is very common in perimenopausal women. In another scenario, FHS levels may seem normal with menopause test, but hot and other symptoms are pitfalls, as the balance of estrogen and progesterone levels is beyond synchronization. It is even possible for a woman to have regular periods and a normal FHS level, but without the release of the egg for fertilization. In another word, there are absolutely normal reasons why FHS fluctuations occur from month to month and menopause test could express a menopausal woman on one occasion of testing and not others.
In short, the menopause test should not be considered as a menop markerUzu, because it could be seen that the results of cholesterol test is an indicator of the potential of heart disease. In fact, many doctors prefer to give up the menopause test and focus on symptoms that may indicate that the transition to menopause occurs. For this reason, the doctor is likely to treat a woman if unpleasant symptoms are not serious, regardless of menopause test results.
This does not mean that menopause testing is a complete waste of time.
