What is the difference between scanning PET and Cat?

PET and CAT scanning technologies are types of medical imaging used to view various aspects of the inside of the body without the need for surgery. Positron emission tomography (PET) scan detects very weak radioactive particles that have been introduced into the body to show how different parts of the body work.
