What is electric steel?

Electric steel is an alloy that contains iron and silicon. It can be made to make up 15% silicon, depending on the finished product. This type of steel is also called Transformer Steel, very often used to build the core of the transformers and stators of generators and engines. It is also efficient in maintaining heat, so high temperatures do not affect objects such as power lines and manufacturing machines, in which it is important to maintain temperatures for energy efficiency and longevity of the device.
