What is biogeochemistry?

Biogeochemistry is an interdisciplinary study field that affects various processes that affect the make -up of nature, including Earth and atmosphere. These processes can be chemical, biological, physical or geological nature, therefore the name biogeochemistry. The field is closely related to the ecology in the fact that it mostly deals with Earth's life, although it focuses more on purely environmental concerns than ecology. The fields are particularly interested in wide cyclic processes that pass some elements and substances such as carbon, nitrogen and water. For example, in the carbon cycle, biogeochemist monitors the movement of carbon with an atmosphere, integrate into organisms, release through disintegration and many other processes. The biosphere, which contains all ecosystems, is essentially summary on Earth. The lithosphere includes the outer bark of the Earth or a generally rock outer layer of any planet that changes significantly over time.
