What are the nerves of the body?

The nerves of the body play an essential role in the transfer of information to the brain in the form of electrical impulses. Without these nerves, the body could not respond to harmful events such as the touch of hot stove. The body nerves contain two main nervous systems: central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral nervous system (PNS). Together, these systems receive internal and external impulses, transfer it to the brain, start a reaction and store information for a later memory. The pain is caused when the nerves react to undesirable stimulus - whether it is external, like a fall or inner, such as a tight nerve. The pain combined with reports from the brain or launched by certain reflexes causes the person to do what he can stop an undesirable stimulus and return the body to homeostasis.

Homeostasis is the desired goal of the gym. When the body is in homeostasis, it is healthy and balanced. Nothing works or causes pain and the nerves of the body remain calm and happy.

When the nerves of the body react to the stimulus, they actually send electrochemical impulses through small nerve endings known as dendrites. Dendrits carry impulses into neurons or nerve cells. Neurons then send a signal over a single end similar to the tentacle known as Axon. Axon carries the signal to another neuron and the signal eventually reaches the spinal cord.

This process of sending impulses of neurons to the spinal cord is performed by nerves contained in the peripheral nervous system. Their only responsibility is to send messages from the body to the central nervous system. They are like small cars aimed at a larger interstate: spinal cord.

On this larger interstep, represented by the mix, the messages are routed back and forth between the brain and the peripheral nervous system. The message could start with a foot if one starts to enter the nail while barefoot. The message passes neurons to the spinal cord, which casts it to the brain. The brain processes the message and sends a response to the leg and says, "Return back!" The person jerks immediatelyleg back to avoid serious injury. The brain also stores information on how the nail felt in the future, can send the right message even faster in the same situation.

All the nerves of the body are controlled by the brain that acts as a commanding officer for everything that happens in the body. Twelve nerves known as the cranial nerves allow the brain to control the most important body functions. These include the movement of eyes, smell and taste. Most of the skull nerves are related to the movement of the face, but some control parts of the body such as the digestive system and heart rhythm. Along with the spinal cord and numerous neurons, the brain can control all aspects of the body, directly to blink the lid.
