What is the vascular endothel?

The term vascular endothelium indicates one layer of cells lining the components of the entire cardiovascular system. This includes the heart and three types of blood vessels: arteries, capillaries and veins. The vascular endothelium is part of the necessary function of the circulation system of the body. However, this feature is usually given by a "vascular" prefix to distinguish the layers of the heart and blood vessels from the endothelium of other areas of the body, such as the brain and eyes. In particular, the vascular endothelium ensures that the blood flows smoothly in the blood vessel space known as lumen. The presence of a vascular endothelium allows blood to travel further and also transmits white blood cells. By running this process, endothelial layers of cells are formed with the cooperation of smooth walls of blood vessels with connective tissue cells called pericytes. This is also called wall cells due to their placement on the walls of the blood vessels.

Vascular endothelium works along the lymphatic endothelium. This layer of cellsIt lines the inner walls of lymphatic capillaries that get rid of excessive tissue fluids. The plot of this fluid, specifically called lymphs, while in the blood vessel and generally known as the interstitial fluid, it is controlled in the same way as the blood of the vascular endothelium. Lymphatic capillaries are also part of the lymphatic system.

The vascular and lymphatic system includes a circulatory system. This network of organs circulates blood, tissue fluid, nutrients and other substances between certain organs to maintain physical health health. Especially the vascular endothelium is part of the vascular system that consists of the heart and the blood vessels it lines.

The lack of vascular endothelium may adversely affect the vascular system. For example, tissue swelling may occur due to unregulated or increased blood flow speeds. Also, when the endothelium gets other layers that are made of plaque, the walls subsequently thicken and reduce blood flow. This condition is called atherosclerosis. Weakening or destroying the endoteLU in the heart and blood vessels can lead to cardiovascular problems such as heart disease or heart attack.
