What is steam pressure?
According to the definition, the pressure of the vapor is the amount of steam or gas pressure when the substance is in equilibrium state. In other words, when the liquid or solid is in a closed container and some molecules evaporate, while others return to a liquid or solid state, the pressure that can be measured in this container refers to the steam. The vapor pressure is expressed in terms of atmosphere (ATM) and can be influenced by changes in the temperature, vessel size and molecular bond strength.
