There are at least two types of composite insulators
Composite insulators are composed of umbrella sleeves, core rods and metal fittings at both ends. The core rod is made of glass fiber reinforced resin rod, which has a high tensile strength (> 1100Mpa), which is about 1.5 to 2 times that of ordinary steel, and 3 to 5 times that of high-strength porcelain. In addition, the core rod also has good vibration resistance, creep resistance and fatigue fracture resistance.
3. Fittings and core rods are connected by non-damage mechanical crimping, which is the most advanced connection method in the world today. Its advantages are: the connection is safe and reliable, the compression stress distribution is uniform, and the integrity of the core fiber glass fiber bundle is not damaged, and the excellent characteristics of high tensile strength can be fully exerted.
4. The voltage equalizing ring has improved electric field distribution, reduces corona and radio interference, and protects the umbrella skirt from being burnt out during a strong arc. For composite insulators of high voltage level, the effect is more significant.
5. The composite insulator is compact in structure, small in size, and light in weight (1/7 to 1/10 of the same grade porcelain insulator string), has good elasticity, and does not require regular cleaning. Therefore, it not only brings great convenience to transportation and installation, but also greatly reduces the amount of maintenance and saves a lot of maintenance costs, reduces the labor intensity of workers, and also provides good conditions for accident maintenance and implementation of compact lines.
6. Composite insulators are produced using integral injection molding production processes. The umbrella cover has beautiful appearance, few interfaces, the core rod and the sheath are firmly and seamlessly bonded, and the internal insulation performance is good, which can avoid interface breakdown.

4. Each packing box contains a product certificate and 3 to 10 instructions for use are included with the shipment.
