What are the different types of prototype technology?

Prototyping is a step in the process of designing new or revised products that allow designer teams to control products in terms of defects, identify possible areas of improvement and demonstrate the product to potential investors or target markets. In most cases, this process involves creating models of different functionality levels from a number of materials by several types of prototype technologies. These technologies include subtractive and additive design and representation based on software. The first two methods include removal of the material from the block or leaf of model material or adding the material to the model layer on the layer. The third type of prototype technology is used to demonstrate software products. Creating a prototype model of the proposed product allows the team the design team to assess the design of functionality, failures and aesthetic properties before entering the final production phase.Self -expected results from the prototyping process. The most common categories in which prototype technologies fall are additive, subtractive and software groups.

additive prototype technology, also known as rapid prototyping, uses techniques that add material to an empty slate. These include direct metal laser sintering (DML), selective laser salivation (SLS) and stereolithography (SLA). In most of these processes, the laser is used to monitor the shape of the model in the liquid or powder base that solidifies when in contact with the laser beam. Laser, led by a computer with a computer supported design (CAD), gradually creates a prototype layer on the layer until it is completed. The three -dimensional printing (3DP) and the melting of the electron beam are two similar add -ups prototyping.

Subtractive prototype technology uses several types of conventional countingList numeric control machines (CNC) to remove the material from the modeling material to detect the completed prototype. These machines are also controlled by details contained in the CAD file. Machine is known as the primary subtractive prototyping process. The resin casting models are also known as the subtractive process, as the material is first machined from the aluminum or plaster block to use the molds. This type of process is known as a secondary subtractive prototyping.

software prototyping technology is much easier and less expensive than the production of physical models. Prototype programs are usually tested because they are developed, which makes errors and improvement of the ongoing process during development rather than a specific event. Once the beta versions are improved, they are often released for operational testing in a live medium.
