How do I build a wood furnace?

The most common method used to create a wooden furnace includes the use of bricks, mortar and mud, with mild deviations depending on whether the oven is for indoor or outdoor use. Inner wooden furnaces require much more planning because they must be properly venting and isolated to prevent the risk of inhalation of fire and smoke. The sets can be purchased in many building centers that contain most of everything needed to build an inner wood furnace. Some areas have laws that regulate how internal fires can be built and what types of structures can be used. If the regulations are introduced, it is likely that once it is built, the oven will have to go through the security inspection.

To create a wooden oven for outdoor use, you must first decide how big you want the oven. Once you decide on the size, you will have to decide on the place. You probably want to lay an oven close to the porch or terrace, but keep in mind that to protect the houseBefore the risk of fire, the oven should be far from the outer walls. You will also have to opt for an oven platform, such as stone base or metal base. Once you know the size and location of the oven, you can buy the necessary amounts of bricks and mortar.

When you are ready to make the floor of the oven, you should assemble bricks on the bed of dry sand supported by an iron plate that measures the desired floor size. The sand bed should ideally be about 6 inches (15 cm) deep and the bricks should be evenly sorted, all sides touching. Once the bed is finished, the bricks should be covered with a layer of wet sand and measures as thick as half the total width of the oven floor. Once the sand layer spreads, it should be covered with a thick layer of thick mud.

Once the floor of the oven is built, you can build ths hips and upper part usingformed clay or bricks. The brick is probably easier, although some claim that better tastes can be achieved using clay or builder. If you want the upper part of the oven to be flat, you will need to add a platform made of iron or steel that supports the upper brick or clay. Some wood furnace furnaces have sides that are angle in, so they meet in the middle at the top, and they usually do not require added support. Both sides and the upper part of the oven should be lined with a thick layer of thick, damp mud

You can build a wooden oven for indoor use in almost the same way as an outdoor oven, but you will have to surround the unit with a thermal resistant material. In addition, if the chimney is not yet introduced, you will have to have installed. In most cases, due to the risk of fire, it is good to have an inner wooden oven built by a professional or use a set that has been tested for safety.
