What is the Montessori School?

Montessori School is a school developed at the beginning of the 20th century, on the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. These schools are a way to teach children who are completely focused on a child and directed a child. Although the early schools of Montessori were generally for the level of kindergarten and primary class, there are now many Montessori schools that teach up to the 12th year. The first is that children have the ability to manage their own learning. Second, children do not learn the same way as adults and not all children have the same learning methods. Children should be “masters” of their environment and the classrooms are specially prepared for this championship. Exercise and equipment should be self -reproduced, so the child learns from their own mistakes and proceeds forward. Finally, the child determines the educational pace.

The Montessori School focuses on many hand on learning approaches. Children should be allowed to interact as much as possible with all five senses in learning approaches. Most of the Montessori schools have different hands on activities and can offer opportunities toCare for animals, prepare food or garden, as well as natural activities such as sweeping and cleaning.

Letters are usually not part of the Montessori School Access. Dr. Montessori felt that signs supported unnatural and unhealthy competition that disrupts learning. Instead, students can be evaluated by acquired skills. Today, the Montessori School can offer grades because many parents feel that they are necessary to assess the child from a scholastic point of view. This can also be useful for students who will complete 13 -year -old education at the Montessori School, because the signs are an important consideration of most universities.

It was a note critics of Montessori School access, yet it is popular enough to have more than 8,000 Montessori schools in the US. Normal critology of Montessori methods sometimes registers that some students will not handle all the Scholastic areasImportance, if they remain unbiased in them. Some Montessori students admitted problems with mathematics because they didn't have to learn it. On average, the Montessori student tends to perform well or better than those who are educated at traditional public schools. Mathematical problems are not exclusive to Montessori students.

Montessori School methods were also criticized as a domestic task. Some Montessori schools are now assigning homework, but some critics are worried about the transition of the needy when students move to schools where homework is required. It is an ongoing debate that includes more than the Montessori school method. Several districts, which are traditional in other ways, have now banned homework, which generally saw a sharp tendency since no child left an act. The petitioner of the Montessori school would claim that children are constantly learning and therefore there is experience in learning at home.

Most Montessori schools in the US are private and many of themIt comes with a college. Several public school districts tried to present the concepts of the Montessori school in main public schools. This has not met with complete success, because Montessori often means the opposite of traditional public education, where it relys so much on students who reach the same level, and mastering certain skills at certain points. Some public charter schools are still trying to bring Montessori's concepts to mainstream education, which may be interesting to watch.

For many people, the Montessori School remains a viable alternative source of education for children, usually produces students with excellent mastering of basic skills and admiration. However, Montessori schools often remain exclusive because the cost of teaching can be so high. Only a few students compared to the normal population are in socio-economic groups that make them eligible to benefit from these schools.
