What is air pressure?
The
air pressure basically refers to the volume of air in a specific environment, with larger volumes creating higher pressures. For example, on the Earth's surface, it is known as "atmospheric pressure" and refers to the weight of the Earth's atmosphere pushing to everything. Pressure changes can affect temperature, weather patterns and cause physiological problems for humans and animals. This pressure can even affect the performance of basketball or similarly inflated object.
