What is a carbon cycle?

carbon cycle is a means by which carbon atoms are exchanged between living items, earth, oceans and sky; or biosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. There are about 1,000,000 carbon gigatons on Earth, most of which are locked in sedimentary rocks and never reach the surface. On the surface, the carbon is constantly connected to the dynamic replacement of consumption and production. This active exchange is referred to as a carbon cycle. At the end of the carbon cycle consumption, the carbon is constantly discharged 1) The process of photosynthesis that uses carbon dioxide to form carbohydrates and 2) cooler parts of the oceans that are able to absorb carbon dioxide. At the production end of the carbon cycle, the atmospheric carbon is continuously supplemented by the following processes: breathing and animal plants and their disintegration; fossil fuel burning; Limestone reactions; release of carbon dioxide by warm areas of the ocean; and volcanic eruptions. Human combustion of fossil fuels slightly eliminated a global carbon cycle or budget from balance, which hadThe atmosphere with increasing carbon dioxide.

The biosphere contains approximately 600 gigatons of carbon, which is the most condensed carbon pool on the ground. Through the carbon cycle, the carbon circulates in and out of the biosphere because the plants and the animals breathe, secrete, perish and perform photosynthesis. The soil in the form of organic substances that become plants and animals when they die contains about 1,500 gigatons of carbon. Some of these carbon immerses deep into the ground into sedimentary rocks, it will never emerge again. Some of them reach the oceans and dissolve. Deep oceans contain substantial carbon, about 38,000 gigatons.

about 5.5 gigatons of fossil fuel emissions are released every year into the atmosphere by the human industry and creates a figurative top carbon cycle. International coalitions that reduce these emissions have been created with a slight success so farhem. The remaining coal deposits a total of about 3,000 carbon gigatons and the remaining oil and gas reserves are about 300.
