What is IR flashlight?

Infrared (IR) Batter is a device designed to release light that falls outside the normal visible spectrum. This can be achieved using special light bulbs or diodes radiating lights (LEDs) that only cast infrared light, although it is also possible to adapt the normal flashlight with a filter. The main purpose for which these devices are used is an active night vision that requires a type of infrared light source. When a special video camera or other type of night vision device (NVD) is used by an IR, it is possible to see in complete darkness. The wavelength and frequency are used to describe different colors of light found in this spectrum, from purple at one end to red on the other. In most cases, the lowest frequency that the human eye sees, about 480 Terahertz (THZ) and the longest wavelength of IS 750 Nanometers (NM), Both of WHICH CORRRESPOND TO THE COLOR red. The light that falls immediately as this range is referred to as infrared whileMicrowaves and radio waves have considerably longer wavelengths and lower frequencies.

Without the Aid of A Camcorder or Other Type of NVD, The Flashlight Will Appear to Be Off. This Effect Can Be Obvious By Aiming An Infrared Remote Control at A Camera or Camcorder. UNLESS The Camera is Equipped with An Ir Filter, The Led Will Appear to Flash Brightly When the Remote is Activated. In Most Cases The Light Will Appear Blue or Purple, WHICH IS USULY THE SAME WAY THE LIGHT FLASHLIGHT WILL LOOK ON Camera.

All IR flashlights emit infrared light, but all do not work on exactly the same frequencies. The general range to which the majorityIna of these flashlights falls, it is about 715nm up to 1,000 nm, but many NVDs do not see wavelengths longer than about 880 nm. The luminous intensity of IR, which emits light at the bottom of the range, can be somewhat visible to the naked eye, while those who throw the light in the range of 1,000 nm are invisible to a certain NVD and much more dark even on specially designed night vision cameras.
