What are the different types of nuclear technicians?

Nuclear technician tasks include radiopharmaceuticals - substances that emit small but measurable radioactivity - for patients and measurement of this activity as radionuclides in subsequent imaging scans to treat or identify disease. After oral, nasal or intravenous administration, radiopharmaceutical substances are absorbed into different tissues depending on their designed function, and then a number of sophisticated cameras are used to obtain images of the resulting absorption or metabolism.
