What Are the Different Types of Service Industry Jobs?

The survey data was released by the National Bureau of Statistics on May 27, 2015. The average salary of employees in all survey units in 2014 was 49,969 yuan. Among them, the average salary of middle-level and above managers is the highest, which is 2.20 times the average level of all employees. [1]

Average salary of different positions in 2014

In 2014, the National Bureau of Statistics continued to investigate the salary situation of different posts through a set of direct online reporting platforms, involving more than 910,000 corporate legal entities in 16 industries. The employees of the survey unit are divided into five categories: middle-level and above managers, professional and technical personnel, office workers and related personnel, business and service personnel, production and transportation equipment operators, and related personnel. [1]
Middle-level and above management personnel are 109,760 yuan, professional and technical personnel are 66,074 yuan, office personnel and related personnel are 47,483 yuan, business and service personnel are 40,669 yuan, production and transportation equipment operators and related personnel are 42,914 yuan. The average wage of business and service personnel is the lowest, which is 81% of the average level of all employed persons. The ratio of the highest to the lowest average salary is 2.70.
Analysis in four major areas
The eastern region has the largest average wage gap between jobs, with a ratio of the highest to the lowest wage of 2.83; the central region has the smallest wage gap, with a ratio of 2.37 to the highest.

The wage gap in the leasing and business service industries is the largest, with a ratio of the highest and lowest average wages of 5.04; the smallest wage gap in the construction industry, the highest and lowest ratio is 2.22. The wage gap in 7 industries is greater than the national average, from high to The lowest order is: leasing and business services 5.04, culture, sports and entertainment 3.96, information transmission, software and information technology services 3.81, scientific research and technology services 3.75, real estate 3.24, wholesale and retail 2.90, water conservancy, Environmental and public facilities management industry 2.84; the wage gap between the nine industries is less than the national average, from low to high: construction 2.22, accommodation and catering 2.30, health and social work 2.36, transportation, storage and postal 2.40 , Education 2.43, manufacturing 2.48, residential service, repair and other services 2.60, electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply 2.63, mining 2.67.

Foreign-funded enterprises have the largest gap in job wages, with the highest and lowest average wage ratios of 4.25; followed by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises, the highest and lowest ratios are 3.31; Private and collective units have the smallest post wage gap, with the highest and lowest ratios of 2.30 and 2.38, respectively.
