What is Eschar?
Eschar is an area of dead tissue on the skin. It is often called black wound , Chrasta may seem black with a strong collection of dry tissue. This tissue is often necrotic or created as a result of premature death of otherwise healthy skin cells. Eschar may be related to burn injuries, spiders and gangrene bite. Ulcers and fungal infections can also lead to this. This may also be associated with a lack of oxygen supplied to the body area, which is often the cause of limb necrosis in diabetic patients. As skin cells die, scab is formed in the area of cell death. This scab is the beginning of Eschar. In the case of gangrene, there may be little injury or turning in the skin everything that is needed to create Eschar.
arachnogenic necrosis can also lead to Eschar. Arachnogenic necrosis concerns the effect of the poison of the spider on the skin. In the United States, Brown Recluse Spider is the only proven species with a neurotic poison. Spider Hobo, Sac Spider and Recluse spider remain suspected without medical evidence thatcarries a cell damaging poison.
However, it has been shown that the Chilean recluse spider causes skin neurosis. This species is located in South America. When the poison enters the skin, the cells immediately begin to die around the bite. As I spread, the wound also expands and causes a large scab.
Eschar can be treated in one of three ways. If any infection is not associated with scabling, the area will often be allowed to separate the skin naturally. If the problem of potential infection is a problem, or if the patient's immune system is disrupted, surgical removal of Eschar may be performed. This procedure is called debridement .
The lack of circulation into the area may be the cause, so the effect of necrotic scanning. As the skin tightens and the affected area grows, the circulation to the wound area may be disturbed. If the wound area does not have sufficient blood flow, doctors can order eschArotomy . This procedure involves cutting into Eschar to reduce the internal pressure from the wound. This small incision is often dramatically stretched and reveals fat tissue below.
