What Is the Social Graph?
Social graph is a kind of network graph indicating "I know you". It reflects the people that users know through various channels: family members, work colleagues, friends at meetings, high school classmates, club members, friends of friends, and so on. Social graphs are mainly generated by some major social networks, such as Facebook or LinkedIn. Users send invitations to people they know to build and maintain their social relationships.

"Open Graph" will put everyone at the center of the network. We will empower people so that they can create a smarter and more personalized network.
- Although Facebook revealed these new procedures before the F8 conference, Zuckerberg made the site s goal more clear at today s conference, which is to build the Internet into a large social networking platform. Facebook hopes that web developers will value the development of this feature. Facebook is not only about establishing social connections between users, but also about connecting users with different interests, such as user preferences, places, brands, or other objects. Zuckerberg collectively called this plan Open Graph. Analysts have pointed out that Facebook's new idea can be called the Interest Graph. [2]
