What is the stamps?
The term "stamps" usually refers to the type of mining equipment used to crush the rock containing ore, although it can also mean a building in which the rock is crushed. In ancient times, variations of grain pounding, oil processing, oil processing were used for the processing of oil from seeds and paper. Traditionally, however, this type of mill machine is used for the center of gravity of gold, silver and copper.
stamps, sometimes called stamps, are built with a number of stamps arranged in what is usually a wooden frame. There are usually five grades in the frame, but this number may vary. Sometimes the individual frame with a set of marks is called the Stamp battery. Although some of the larger razor mills have been powered by steam engines, most use water for their energy source. Signs
are usually made of steel or something as heavy as wood with iron heads. These signs are controlled by a cam and a rotating shaft that is designed to cause stamping on a rock that is feeding the machine. This process is repeated until the rock is distributed to a point where the target ore can be extracted.
The pulverization process by pounding a heavy object is what distinguishes stamps from ground mills. Grinding uses some form of compression to break the substance. The simplest example of grinding is what happens when using mortar and thickness.
One of the advantages of the mill mill was the simplicity of its structure. It could be disassembled, transported to a new place and relatively easily assembled. This meant that miners could use this type of mill in distant places. The main limitation for the press mill was the availability of running water for power. In many cases it was remedied by a dam or redirect near rivers or streams.
Therazé mills are largely replaced by more modern means of extraction ore, but archaeological records suggest that variations of stamps have existed for thousands of years.Early Greeks used components reminiscent of components stamps for agricultural purposes, such as removal of grain hulls. The efforts of gold and silver mining during the Roman Empire show the use of stamps operated by the CAM system. Leonardo da Vinci even shows sketches that depict a similar mechanism for the use of blacksmiths.
