What is water transport?

The term "water transport" refers to the act of moving the substantial volume of water from one place to another. There are three main categories into which most water transport activity can be divided: aqueducts, consignments through containers and campaign through a large water formation. These different methods can be used to move water from a place where it is abundant to the area where it is needed. Water transport can be used for irrigation of otherwise arid land, supplying fresh drinking water to large municipal areas and many other purposes.
