What Is a Salpingectomy?
Salpingectomy refers to benign lesions of the fallopian tube, and all or part of the fallopian tube is removed. Clinically, it is mainly used for tubal pregnancy, tubal effusion, tubal empy, and other inflammation-related diseases. A tubal pregnancy may be performed with partial fallopian tube resection. If the situation permits, tubal plastic surgery can be performed as appropriate. The tubal empyema must be performed with a complete fallopian tube resection. The ovarian and uterine arterial branches of the fallopian tube are cut and ligated, and the stump is ligated and buried after the tubal is cut.
