Who Is a Good Candidate for a Cochlear Implant Hearing Device?

The National Hearing Aid Cochlear Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee), English name: China Academy Committee of Hearing Aid and Cochlea Implant, is the only self-regulatory organization in the hearing aid cochlear industry officially approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. The committee was established on October 26, 2006. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Civil Affairs in administrative management, and is professionally guided by the China Rehabilitation Appliance Association. Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1: The organization's full name is "Professional Committee for Hearing Aid Cochlear Implants of the Chinese Rehabilitation Apparatus Association"; the English name is Academy Committee of Hearing Aid and Cochlear Implant;
Article 2 Nature: The Hearing Aid Cochlear Professional Committee of the China Rehabilitation Apparatus Association (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) is a voluntary, national, Non-profit industry organization.
Article 3: Purpose: The Committee complies with the national constitution, relevant laws and regulations, implements relevant national policies, and unites and organizes enterprises and institutions in the hearing aid cochlear implant industry, production technicians, fitters, otologists, audiologists, speech disease Physicists, teachers of hearing and speech rehabilitation, and social workers in related fields, carry out various academic exchange activities and publicity activities to promote and promote the development of hearing aid cochlear implant technology in China, improve academic standards, and benefit the hearing impaired.
The fourth committee is a professional committee under the China Rehabilitation Apparatus Association and works under the leadership of the China Rehabilitation Apparatus Association.
Chapter II Business Scope

Article 6 The Committee shall assume the following duties in the fields of subject development, professional education and training, technical progress and innovation, academic exchanges at home and abroad, and professional technical evaluation in the field of hearing aid cochlear implants:
1. Conduct strategic research on the layout and development of hearing aid cochlear professional institutions, and standardize the development of the hearing rehabilitation industry;
2. Develop the subject development research of hearing aid cochlear specialty;
3. Establish basic standards for education and training of hearing aid cochlear implants, and guide professional education and training;
4. Establish skills and professional ethics for hearing aid cochlear professionals;
5. Hold academic seminars, reports, exhibitions, strengthen ties with foreign counterparts in the same industry, put forward suggestions for academic exchanges at home and abroad, and promote scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation;
6. Edit and print academic journals, materials, books and popular science books, and set up a website;
7. Conduct professional technical evaluation of hearing aid cochlear implants;
8. Organize members to serve the community and carry out technical consultation and training on hearing aid cochlear implants;
9. Actively develop public welfare undertakings and safeguard the vital interests of the hearing impaired;
10. Protect the legal rights and interests of hearing aid cochlear implant enterprises and institutions;
11. To provide advice to governments and social agencies in the field of hearing aid cochlear implantation; to undertake other matters related to hearing aid cochlear implantation commissioned by the government, relevant social groups or members.
Chapter III Members

Article 6 Committee members are divided into individual members and unit members.
Article 7 Basic Conditions of Membership:
1. Unit members should be management, production, operation, scientific research, teaching and other institutions engaged in hearing aids, cochlear implants, hearing test equipment, hearing and speech rehabilitation and related assistive devices, or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) related to the work of the committee, and Civil society and academic organizations engaged in social welfare and social assistance work;
2. Individual members should be otologists, audiologists, speech pathologists, hearing and speech rehabilitation teachers, social workers, and other practitioners in the field of hearing aid cochlear implants. They may be interested in hearing rehabilitation aids and willing to provide assistance. Other services for the hearing impaired, and should meet one of the following conditions: those with intermediate or higher professional titles, senior management personnel of related institutions, social enthusiasts who have a keen interest in public welfare, and have made outstanding contributions to the hearing industry; Cochlea, hearing and speech rehabilitation and related workers, or those who are enthusiastic about hearing aid cochlear implants, hearing and speech rehabilitation and related businesses, and voluntarily join the hearing aid cochlear professional committee, are eligible for membership.
Article 8 Member application and approval procedures:
1. Submit the application for membership and fill in the registration form of unit member or individual member;
2. Discussion and approval of the chairman committee;
3. Payment of dues;
4. A certificate or certificate issued by the committee secretariat.
Article 9 Members enjoy the following rights:
1. The right to participate in the meetings of the members' congress;

Article 10 Obligations of Members:

Chapter IV Members
Article 11 Members are elected from the members of the committee.
Article 12 Basic conditions for members:
Members should be otologists, audiologists, speech pathologists, hearing and speech rehabilitation teachers, social workers, and other practitioners in the field of hearing aid cochlear implants at home and abroad. They can also be interested in hearing rehabilitation aids and are willing to listen Other services for people with disabilities, and should meet one of the following conditions:
1. Work in the field of hearing rehabilitation and related fields and have a professional title of intermediate or above;
2. Senior management personnel working in hearing rehabilitation enterprises and institutions;

Article 13 Procedures for members:

Chapter V Organizational Structure and Conference System

Article 16 The member congress is the highest authority of the committee and has the following powers:
1. Formulate and modify the working rules of the committee;
2. Election and removal of members of the Commission;
3. Review the work report and financial report of the committee;
4. Decide on other important matters.
Article 17 The member congress is held every four years, and the chairman's committee determines the meeting place, time, and agenda, and the secretariat organizes the meeting.
Article 18 A general meeting of members must be attended by more than two-thirds of the members 'representatives, and its resolution must take effect after more than half of the members' representatives have voted.
Article 19 The member congress is the executive body of the member congress and has the following functions and powers:
1. Election and removal of the chairman, deputy director, secretary general, chairman and deputy chairman of the academic committee and technical committee;
2. Implement the resolutions of the member congress;
3. Discuss and decide the committee's work policy, phased work plan and other major issues;

Article 20 The congress of members is held once a year. The meeting committee will determine the meeting place, time, and agenda, and the secretariat will organize the meeting.
Article 21 A congress of members must be attended by more than two-thirds of its members, and its resolution can only take effect if it is passed by more than half of the members present at the meeting.
Article 22 The chairman's committee is the executive body for the daily work of the committee. The director and deputy directors of the committee participate in the exercise of the functions and powers of Article 19, paragraphs 2-6, and are responsible to the committee.
Article 23 The chairman committee shall convene from time to time according to the actual needs.
Article 24 The Secretariat of the Committee is responsible for the daily affairs of the Committee. The Secretariat has one Secretary-General.
Article 25 The Secretariat shall exercise the following functions and powers under the leadership of the Secretary-General:
1. Carry out the routine affairs of the committee under the leadership of the chairman committee;
2. Draft, report, and organize the implementation of phased work plans and plans;
3. Hire full-time staff of the committee;
4. Acting for the financial affairs of the management or supervision committee;
5. Responsible for other daily affairs of the committee.
Article 26 According to the current status of industry development, the committee has academic committees and technical committees.
Article 27 The academic committee is mainly responsible for academic research and consulting related matters related to the business of the committee; the technical committee is mainly responsible for research and development, standard formulation, technical communication and cooperation of hearing rehabilitation aids related to the business of the committee.
Article 28 The related matters such as the working mechanism of academic committees and technical committees are formulated separately.
Article 29 The Committee employs experts and scholars with relevant academic status in the relevant fields at home and abroad as honorary chairman members and specially invited consultants to provide suggestions for the development of the industry and the Committee's own construction.
Article 30 The chairman and deputy director of the committee, the secretary-general of the committee, the members of the academic committee and the technical committee shall be elected from the members of the committee for a term of four years and allow reappointment.
Article 31 After more than one-third of the members of the committee have signed the proposal, more than one-half of the members vote and pass, and report to the competent authority for approval to terminate the activities of the committee.
Chapter VI Funding

Article 32 Sources of Funds of the Committee:
1. Contribution income;
2. Grants and donations from relevant groups and individuals;
3. Commission fund income;
4. Other legal income of the Commission.
Article 33 The revenue of the Commission shall only be used for the business scope and development of the business under the present Working Rules. No unit or individual may embezzle, privately distribute or embezzle.
Article 34 The wages, insurance and welfare benefits of full-time staff of the Committee shall be implemented with reference to relevant state regulations on public institutions.
Article 35 The Commission collects membership fees in accordance with relevant state regulations. The Committee's Measures for Payment of Contributions are attached.
Article 36 The Committee strictly implements the relevant financial management system of the country and accepts the supervision of the member congress, the member congress, and the financial department.
Chapter VII Supplementary Provisions

Article 37 These working rules were approved by the member congress on December 20, 2011, and will come into effect on that day.
Article 38 The right to interpret these working rules belongs to the Professional Committee of Hearing Aid Cochlear Implants of China Rehabilitation Apparatus Association. [3]
