What is a walnut?

scientifically known as juglans cinera , the nut tree is a type of nuts of nuts originally from parts of Eastern North America. This can be found in the forests in this area among many other tree species. The matrix of this tree is often harvested in the autumn for culinary use.

These trees can often be found in the woods and streams on rocky slopes. Basswood, beech, birch and ELM are some examples of trees that can be found growing around nut trees.These trees are also often found in groups rather than solo.

The walnut bark is decorated and usually a light gray color. This tree often grows relatively large and reaches a height of about 60 feet (18.3 meters). It also has a large spread that can sometimes be more than 50 feet (15.2 meters) across.

It is a deciduous tree, which means that it will lose leaves in the autumn. In the spring, however, new leaves begin to appear. The leaves of the walnut tree are folded leaves that consist of an odd number of leaflets. Between 11 and 19 leaflets, anywhere from 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimeters) long, usually forms one sheet that can be up to 30 inches (76 centimeters). These leaves are usually yellowish green.

When a nut is about 20 years old, it begins to produce clusters of nuts. The hulls covering nuts are usually shaped a bit like lemon and can be up to 2.5 inches (6.4 centimeters). During the summer they are usuallyCovered with sticky green hairs.
