What are the different knee links?

There are a number of different knee bonds that surround the knee joint. The front and rear complaints and transverse ligaments are intracapsular. Extracapsular bonds include patellar, media collateral and oblique and arched popliteal. These knee ligaments help stabilize and strengthen the largest joint in the body by limiting its range of movement. The medial collateral is on the inside of the knee and the side collateral is on the outside of the joint. These collateral ligaments provide side stability for the knee joint. These are front and rear cross ligaments. The front crosses in front of the rear complaint to form the shape of x in the center of the knee. Together these two intracapsular ties prevents the tibia chamber too far forward or backwards.

Tear or injury to the front crossed liga may result in joint instability. Without a strong front cross ligament, the tibia moves too far forward. The sloping popliteal is wide and flat and is connected to the femo and tibia. The arch poppliteal is shaped as the letter y and is connected to a fibule with branches reaching on the femur and tibia.
