What is the cold front?

The cold front is the boundary on the edge of the cold air mass. Meteorological activity often takes place at this limit due to interactions between cold and warmer air mass. On the weather map, this phenomenon is represented by a blue line illustrating the border and a number of triangles indicating the direction of movement. The movement of queues is often very predictable because they tend to follow the established weather patterns. The air is thicker and therefore the matter tends to stick to the ground. This forces the warm air up. On the cold front, the air pressure is higher and remains high as the cold matter moves above the ground and the temperatures are cooler. It is important to realize that these air masses do not necessarily have to be cold in the sense that people want to pull the jacket when they pass; They are simply cooler than other air mass in the region. They can also be dry, without any rain, if the levels of moisture are low.

The cold front acts as a front edge of the wedge. Where it interacts with warmer air, it is common to see winds and clotting caused by water vapor in the air responding to temperature change. Sometimes very serious storm systems can form, with hurricanes and tornadoes. This is the most common when multiple queues collide and start mixing.

As a cold front begins to warm up. The sun warms the Earth's surface and it acts to emit the heat through the air and forced it to warm up and begin to rise. This will lead to changes in weather samples. People in the northern hemisphere may notice that bad weather tends to move from the north, which is the result of cold fronts that move towards warmer air areas to push them out because more cold air is generated in the far north. In the southern hemisphere, it is a backward case.

meteorologists can identify a cold front with temperature sampling. If they notice a dramatic temperature difference betweenTwo places, there is a clear boundary between them between two air masses. It is possible to follow the front while predicting how it will move so that the public can plan its activities accordingly. People may have to do things like covering plants to protect them from frost, or closing the closures on the windows from a storm with a high wind.
