What is a hiker?

is a device that graphically records changes in position over time and is most often used to record pressure or movement changes. The shymograph consists of a drum to which the stylus is connected. The stylus records changes on paper wrapped around the drum when the drum turns. Since its invention in the 18th century, the cemograph has been used most often in the field of medicine to study various physiological and muscle processes such as blood pressure, breathing and muscle contractions. It is also used to analyze other phenomena such as atmospheric pressure, speech sounds and fork vibration.

The term Kymograph comes from Latin and translates as a "wave writer", referring to a graphic record created by a tool where the stylus monitors the pattern of changes as they happen. This record provides a representation of changes in time, with time intervals usually marked on paper. Graphic recording generated by a cymograph instrument is commonly translated into a graph and shows changes in pressure or movement on the horizontal x -axis and time has elapsed onvertical axis y.

This instrument was invented in the 40s of the 20th century by German physiologist Carl Ludwig, who primarily used it to study changes in blood pressure. Ludwig also used it to study speech sounds. As one read the words aloud, the vibrations of sound waves would be recorded by a cymograph, allowing the duration, intensity and playground to study. In the 18th century, the cymographs were also used for a number of other purposes, such as the study of the effects of drugs on various organs and the function of steam engines.

Today, the cymographs have been replaced by recently invented tools for many purposes, but the analysis of the cymograph is still used for certain phenomena. For example, cymographs can be used to study moving organelles and to describe a taproat of the heir. This tool is also commonly used in physiological and biological experiments and in some pharmacological tests records mechanical activities of animal tissues and to study, jaThe muscle tissue responds to medicines and other stimuli.

The cymograph may be either horizontal or vertical, depending on the orientation of the drum. The clock or electric engine controls the drum and slowly rotates it while the stylus follows the graphic record on a piece of paper wrapped around the drum. Today, ordinary paper is commonly used for this purpose, but in the past smoked paper has been often used, which was treated with possession over the fumes of oil lanterns.
