What is Goldbricker?

Goldbricker is a term used to describe an individual or situation where a certain effort is made to give something limited for something that is more valuable. Since it concerns an individual, this term is usually applied to someone who creates an illusion of productive, but in fact achieves very little. When Goldbricking is applied to the situation, it often involves adding some elements that create perception of value by strengthening the appearance in the deliberate attempt to cheat.
