Product line managers are managers who are responsible for a series of tasks such as the planning, production, and sales of a certain type of product; in many enterprises, they are also responsible for the development of new products. However, product line managers place more emphasis on the management of existing product lines. In addition to being interested in brand changes and expansions, they rarely ask about new products and often lack the expertise and skills to develop new products.
