What is toefl®?

The

English test as a foreign language ™ (Toefl®) has been administered to an unorigent English spokesman since 1964. It is designed to measure English to determine if the student will be able to succeed in college. Many educational institutions in English -speaking countries require TOEFL® score from foreign students who have not met other requirements, such as studying at a university in an English -speaking country for at least two years. Once the toefl® is done, the score will remain in the file two years before they are discarded. Toefl® is designed to solve this problem by ensuring that all students can achieve the basic level of English language knowledge. Like other standardized tests, TOEFL® is criticized by some educators for a range of reasons, and Toefl® Shold itself is unlikely to be used as an English rate.

Toefl® is a trademark of educational test services (ETS), STAndardized test companies that perform exams such as SAT® for incoming university students and Praxis ™ for potential teachers. The ETS offers three TEFL® versions, although two of them have been discarded since 2006 and were expected to be completely interrupted. The first is a paper test, a four -hour examination in which students receive test papers. The second is a computer test that uses an interactive computer format to perform a test. The preferred method is an Internet test.

Four -hour Internet based on TOEFL® tests four aspects of English communication. The test tenthly will also listen to the recorded English sentences and respond to them and the test customers will record spoken English. The score combines performance in all four aspects of the test andIt is believed to serve as an accurate reflection of the student's ability.

The

talked part of Toefl® was criticized for testing tests who claim to do somewhat chaotic. For the listening phase, testors usually wear headphones so that they do not dare other test recipients. The educational test service had difficulty solving this problem, as Toefl® is administered in standardized test centers that would be difficult to reheat only for TOEFL®. Seating has been limited, which helps but also frustrates the test customers, as it can be difficult to register for Toefl® hay.
