What is a diastolic filling?

The time when the heart muscle is relaxed and the blood filling returned to the heart after the circulation by the body and the lungs are called a diastolic filling. Blood enters the heart through the superior vena cava, pulmonary veins and lower vena cava. Abnormal diastolic filler patterns may be a symptom of heart failure or pulmonary stenosis (PS). The lowest measurement is the recorded number. In typical blood pressure measurement, diastolic pressure is number at the bottom of the fraction. The second number is the systolic pressure, which is the highest atrial pressure measurement and is recorded as the highest number of blood pressure fractions. Early diastolic reading (E) is measured when blood remains after the last heart of the heart muscle flows into the heart. The following is contraction of the atrial (A) and the speed of filling is measured again. E/A speed can be used to indicate cardiac dysfunction and need for further testing.

Abnormal compliance patterns may be a symptom of heart failure. People with a slight heart failure tend to have lower e and measurements and long periods of relaxationCe heart muscles. Severe heart failure is marked by a short time of relaxation of heart muscle and high e and measurements.

Many people with pulmonary stenosis have abnormal diastolic filling formulas. Most of them have a reduced level of performance during phase E and an increased degree during phase A. It is assumed that muscle hypertrophy is caused by an abnormal formula of filling. Treatment of pulmonary flap stenosis is surgery for the extension of the lung valve called balloon valvuloplastics.

The diaspex of olik filling can be influenced by reinforcement of the heart muscle. High blood pressure can cause the muscle on the left side of the heart to become stiff and unable to relax. Many people after myocardial infarction or heart attack scarred heart muscles. The scar tissue is unable to relax enough to allow the right filling speed.

Some people with diabetes may have some stiff heart muscle that I get worseis a diastolic filling. Increased blood sugar can lead to heart muscle glycosylation. Excessive sugar in the muscle disrupts the tissue relaxation, resulting in abnormal filling speed.

treatment of abnormal diastolic performance depends on the basic condition causing the condition. Drugs, including calcium channel blockers and enzyme inhibitors, can help normalize the speed of performance. Some people who also have lung swelling may have to take diuretics in the treatment of the program.
