What is the pulley assembly?

In its simplest form, the pulley assembly is composed of a wheel that spins freely on the axle and belt, rope, chain or cable that runs over the wheel. The purpose of the pulleys is to alleviate the amount of force it needs to raise the load, otherwise known as a mechanical advantage. Production, mechanical, industrial and automotive fields are used by a pulley assembly. Parts of the pulley differ depending on the context in which they are used. For example, the wheels or wheels that are used for the assembly can be grooved to suit the rope or coarse belt that rotates by friction.
