What is gynura?

Gynura is a subgroup of the Asteraceae plant family, which also includes popular flowering plants such as sunflowers and aster, and well -known edible plants such as salad and artichokes. Several species are included in the family, one of the most famous is the purple passionate gynura aurantiaca. This species is a flowering permanent vines, which is often grown as a decorative flower pot. Many other Gynura species are a healthy, edible vegetable that is somewhat similar to spinach. The genus is originally from Asia, where many edible species are grown for food.
