What is the bile?

The

bile canal is part of the billiard system, responsible for the transport of bile, a strong brownish yellow or green-yellow digestive fluid necessary for proper food digestion. The billiard system consists of other organs such as gallbladder, liver channels, common bile duct, cystic channel and bile ducts inside and outside the liver. In short, the biliary system is a whole network of different bile canals that pass through a number of organs that include the liver, gallbladder, pancreas and small intestine.

The term bile pipe generally concerns one of the billiards. Specifically, it is a terminal segment of a biliary system ranging from the combination of a common liver canal and a cystic channel to the main duodenal papill. From the liver, a network of different pipe sizes extends to the abdominal, through which it passes on the way to the small intestine. Bile secreted by liver cells flowing through the pipeline until part of the small intestine called duodenum, where it helps to convert fats in food into fatty acids. If nLeding to fatty acids, fats cannot be absorbed by the digestive tract.

Not all bile run directly from the liver to the small intestine. The gallbladder, which is located under the liver, deposits about 50 percent of the bile produced by the liver. When the food is eaten, the gallbladder releases the bile into the small intestine to distribute the fats. In addition to carrying bile from the liver, the bile duct also drains waste products from the liver to the small intestine. The bile secreted by the liver consists of bile salt, bilirubin, cholesterol and other waste products. It is a component of bile salt that helps break fats into fatty acids.

Health problems occur when the bile pipe is blocked by bile stones, pancreatic cancer and the scarring from the injury. Blocking prevents the bile from transporting into the small intestines causing bilirubin, red-yellow pigment, accumulates in the blood that leads to a state called jaundice. The presence of bilirubinIn the blood causes the skin and eyes to yellow. Other signs of jaundice include noticeably darker urine and paler stools due to bilirubin filtering into the urine with the kidneys instead of being lost in the stool. Cancer of bile ducts is called cholangiocarcinoma.
