What is dose distillation?
Disilation is a process in which two liquids with different boiling points are heated, evaporated and then cooled to obtain a new product with a higher concentration in one of the two liquids. During the batch distillation, no new liquids are added to the heating container, so over time the product concentration changes when the mixture is cooked and the final product is removed. Pilot plants, pharmacies and special chemical applications commonly use dose distillation to control the quality of a small amount of product.
