What is a project management professional?

Project Management Professional (PMP) is a highly recognized career designation certified by project management (PMI). The designation ensures standardized methodologies for all people who have earned it in all parts of the world. Certified project management professional is essential in the selection, development, implementation and completion of business projects in many different industries. Employment and education criteria differ, but usually a bachelor's degree that includes courses in the field of communication, economy or human resources, and are required at least two years of experience as a project manager. Candidates without a bachelor's degree, but with at least five years of experience as a project manager plus some education concerning project management can still be allowed to carry out an examination. The four -hour computer test has 200 test questions regarding the project start, planning, implementation, supervision and closure. Practical tests or study test are availabley. Candidates are usually allowed three attempts to pass the exam within one year.

PMP understands problems such as risk management, analysis of stakeholders, resource management, team performance analysis and project performance analysis. He knows how to supply cost -effective projects in time. Strategic planning ability, solving inventive problems and understanding concepts such as statistics and cost analysis are some of the skills required by the project management professional. This Persyn must also have good team development skills and be able to quickly resolve conflicts. The ability to quickly understand different project software is essential for this role, as the project could consist of designing new products, improving logistics management or restructuring society.
